On this week's edition of Extra we get a little help from some furry and feathered friends and the world's greatest detective. First up it's my theatrical review of The Muppets as the late Jen Henson's creations get a reboot for a new generation. It's a trip to the deep US South of the 60's with my blu-ray/dvd combo review of The Help (courtesy of Walt Disney Home Video) as unlikey freindship in this touching drama. It's another take on the legendary lawman of literature faces off against hellish hounds, curses and a vampire with the dvd review of the new 4-disc Sherlock Holmes Collection (courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) starring Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) as Holmes and Kenneth Welsh as Dr. Watson. 3 Mossad agents have to deal with a kidnapping gone wrong with the dvd review of The Debt (courtesy of Alliance Films) starring Helen Mirren, Sam Worthington, Jessica Chastain & Tom Wilkinson. Music for this episode features the songs Daytime Soaps and Shattered Hopes by Sweet Diss and The Comebacks, Runnin Hound by Eros and Curse of a Madman by Ancient Influence, they can all be found at www.famemusic.com. Other instrumental music is by the band Mr. Burns (www.mrburnsmusic.com). As always your comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
