This week it is old bones and heroes on the show. First up is my audio book review of 206 Bones by Kathy Reichs as Tempe Brennan faces a threat to her life and career. Then we journey back to Fan Expo 2009 and join Dan Didio, Senior V.P. & Executive Editor of D.C, Dan Didio as he hosts the DC Comics Q & A on a wide variety of characters from the DCU and you find out why Jimmy Olson will not be a Black Lantern in the Blackest Night event. This week it is back to basics with two reviews for your listening pleasure. First up it is my audio book review of Star Wars : Fate of the Jedi : Abyss by Troy Denning as Luke & Ben Skywalker come face to face with the dark side of the force. Then it is off to the legendary house of madness and mayhem as Batman battles Joker along with a host of other evil minds in Batman : Arkham Asylum for the PS3. This week it is gaming, independent producers and comic book legends as I conclude my interviews from Fan Expo 2009 that took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from July 28 - 30th 2009. First up I catch up with Jay Watamiuk from Bioware (www.bioware.com/) and we talk about the upcoming game Dragon Age : Origins and what goes into making great video game. Then I talk with the founder of Troma films (www.troma.com/) , Llyod Kaufman & friends in the most unothrodox and funny interview I have had in ages. I talk with upcoming movie producer and actress Alexia Anatasio (www.alexiaanastasio.com/) about starting her own business from the ground up. I go CHAOTIC (www.chaoticgame.com/) and talk with Sarah about the popular trading card game and what they have in store for all thier fans. I wrap things up with longtime artist for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic book, Jim Lawson (www.ninjaturtles.com) about the fab four and what is like to draw characters for over 20 years. Here it is folks the second day coverage of Fan Expo 2009 that I attended at the Metro Toronto |Convention Centre from July 28 - 29, 2009 and a star studded spectacular if there ever was one. On this weeks show you get my observations of the event along with interviews with legendary comic book creator of Swamp Thing and Wolverine, Len Wein, w(http://www.lenwein.blogspot.com/), he dishes out the 2 most imprtant things you need to know about writing for television.
