For this episode we feature hard edged lawmen, a beastly transformation and a sci-fi shooter. First up is my dvd review of A&E's Dog The Bounty Hunter : This Family Means Business (courtesy of eOne Entertainment) as the Chapman family hunt down some wanted felons. Then we cross the pond for the blu-ray review of George Gently Series 3 (courtesy of eOne Entertainment) as British dectectives in the 1960's try to solve some baffling cases. It's another modern day re-telling of a classic fairy tale for the dvd movie review of Beastly (courtesy of Alliance films) as a young man gets a lesson in humility in this beauty and the beast tale. It's a jump into anoither galaxy with the video game review of Bulletstorm for the PS3 (courtesy of Gameaccess.ca) on a planet where things want to either eat you or kill you in this sci-fi first person shooter. For this week's Extra edition the podcast is going green. First up it's a new take on a classic John Wyndom tale as I review Day of the Triffids (2010) (courtesy of eOne Entertainment) on blu-ray starring Dougray Scott and Jason Priestly as killer planst are on the rampage. Then it is off the the sunny coast as I give my DVD review of The Glades : The Complete First Season (Courtesy of Fox Entertainment) as a Chicagoi cop catches bad guys and tries to find love in the Sunshine State. It's green of a different brand as I give my blu-ray/dvd combo review of Green Lantern : Emerald Knights (courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Video) as we get animated tales of the Green Lantern Corps. Finally it is off to the movie theatre with my solo review of Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds. This episode we deal with some drag queens and killer beasts. First up we journey back to 1994 as I give my blu-ray review of The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert (courtesy of Fox Entertainment) starring Terrance Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce as a trio of drag queens trek across the Australian desert on a big pink bus. Then it is off to the sunny shores of Mexico as I give my blu-ray review of Roger Corman's Dinoshark (courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) as an ancient beast creates havok on the sunny shores. It's a battle of 80's pop sensations Debbie Gibson & Tiffany along with monstrous reptiles in the blu-ray review of Mega Python VS Gatoroid (courtesy of eOne Entertainment). I wrap thing off wiith a journey deep inot the woods with the blu-ray/dvd combo review of Red Riding Hood (courtesy of Warner Bros Home video) as a classic legend gets a new twist starring Gary Oldman. In this week's extra edition we explore the world of games, evil spirits,mafia bosses and mustants. First up I give my recaps of this year's E3 Press Conferences by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Then it is off to the movies as I give my dvd review of Stranded (Djinns) (courtesy of eOneEntertainment) as 60's soldiers in the Algerian desert must fight for thier lives against evil spirits. Next up is my blu-ray review of Kill The Irishman (courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) as a self-proclaimed Celtic Warrior fights the mob in 60's Cleaveland. For this week's extra addition animation once again takes the spotlight.
