This week it is another on the road edition of my podcast as I check out the 2nd annual Podcamp Toronto Un-Conference that took place at Ryerson University from Feb. 23 - 24. Along with my take on the event you will also get to hear from Chris Brogan, social media anaylist and great guy as we talk about the growth of podcasting and how networking is changing, Jay Moonah, organizer, podcaster and musician about the coference and Matthew Campagna, from www.bsgcast.com, as we discuss the upcoming season of BattleStar Galactic and what marked the death of network television. Music on this week's show are the songs City Life by Shane Ervin and Another Day in the City by Classic Tragic Hero. Instrumental music is from the track Travelogue by George Woods and tracks from the band Mr. Burns. This week's show once again gives you 2 book reviews for the price of one podcast. First up we trek to the jungles of South America for my review of Amazonia by James Rollins as a group of scientists and military try to survive the terrors that dwell within it's depths. Then it is off to the world of cartoon strips as I review Schulz & Peanuts by David Michaelis as world of Charlie Brown's creator is explored. This week we feature a story that comes all the way from the depths of hell. The audio book review is Mister B. Gone by Clive Barker as the master of horror returns in this tale of a demon trapped in the very story. This week I give you a double dose of James Patterson on audio. First up is my take on the audio book Youv'e Been Warned by James Patterson & Howard Roughan as a young reporter finds her life spiralling out of control in very strange ways. Then we return to the wordl of Alex Cross with Double Cross by James Patterson as two killers stalk the famous Dragonslayer of crimminals. This week I also discuss the tragic death of Heath Ledger and trend of actors dieing young. Music for the show are the songs Luv Me So by Karmyn Tyler and the song Crossed by Ellis Reed.
