On this week's edition of Extra we explore crooked cops, a nasty mortician, battling youth and an adventure across the world. Before I get to the reviews I talk about something strange that happened to me at a local theatre. It's a trip to the past of New York City with the dvd review of The Son of No One (courtesy of Alliance Films) as a cop must face the consequences of his past. Some teenagers get in way over thier heads with the blu-ray review of Beneath The Darkness (courtesy of eOne Entertainment) starring Randy Quaid as a very deadly mortician. It's a trip back into cinema past with the dvd review of The Battle Royale Collection (courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) as young Japanese students fights to the death on an island. I wrap things up with the blu-ray review of The Adventures of Tintin (courtesy of Paramount Home Video) as the classic Herge character gets a 3D animation makeover from Steven Speilberg and Peter Jackson. Music for this episode features the songs Secret (You Know What) by Freddy, The Battle is Not Lost by Cat Rood and Youth and honey by the silence industry, they can all be found at www.famemusic.com. Other instrumental music is by the band Mr. Burns (www.mrburnsmusic.com). As always your comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
